Aerosol sprays are manufactured by mixing the chemical contents of oils, fluids, solid lubricants, or solvents. These are then suspended in a highly pressurised propellant within a can. Aerosol sprays are widely used in many various industries to serve the diverse applications related to production and maintenance.

Cleaning sprays are used primarily for cleaning dirt and residue from component surfaces, prior to being used or in preparation of being lubricated.

Coating sprays are used for rust and corrosion prevention, marking or decorative purposes.
